Mission

The Delray Beach Chorale’s mission is to cultivate the appreciation of choral music through inspiring performances.

Vision

The Delray Beach Chorale’s vision is to be the premiere choral ensemble of Southeast Florida, combining professional, non-professional and student musicians.

History

The Delray Beach Chorale (DBC) has been performing choral music in the South Palm Beach County area since 1982. At that time, a number of Delray Beach residents, determined to organize a South Palm Beach County community chorus in order to perform choral masterpieces at the highest artistic level, established the Delray Beach Chorale. DBC is comprised of qualified and dedicated volunteer singers with solid musical backgrounds and has, from its earliest years of operation, performed with an orchestral ensemble. The Chorale has approximately 65 members and performs two major programs a year – winter and spring.
